The CRTM needed to increase knowledge about the mobility of citizens in the Community of Madrid in order to improve service to citizens, through the planning of transport infrastructure and services.

The Madrid Regional Transport Consortium (CRTM), responsible for coordinating a network of over 40 operators managing more than 7 million daily journeys in the Community of Madrid, collaborated with Virtual Desk to implement a big data analytics platform.
