MOTIA: Multidimensional Optimization of Transport and its Environmental Impact
Funded by: the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and EU – Next GenerationEU/PRTR
Project Description
MOTIA seeks to improve mobility efficiency by addressing the problem from its three fundamental axes: demand (users), supply (operators), and impact (environment). Based on data provided by project partners and transport authorities, algorithms will be developed to optimize the mobility of an ecosystem according to the criteria of these three axes.
Objectives and Results
Alsa’s overall objective in the MOTIA project is to gain knowledge about how to optimize its transport service based on its customers’ mobility needs and the available resources.
The aim is to create an intelligent, collaborative optimization system that ensures service quality for the user, cost efficiency for the operator, and a reduction in environmental emissions.
